Harvard Law School Can Learn From MOOCs

April 12 (Bloomberg) -- Elite universities recognize onlinecourses as a way to educate the masses. Harvard and theMassachusetts Institute of Technology teamed up to introduce thenonprofit edX in May 2012, and Stanford, Princeton, Universityof Pennsylvania and University of Michigan were quick to sign onto Coursera Inc., a for-profit platform, which now offers morethan 300 free courses.
We think these top institutions are missing a chance to usethe Web to reinvigorate stagnated teaching methods within theirown graduate and professional schools, most notably their lawschools.
