Obama Slanders the 1920s to Justify His Failures

Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) -- “When it comes to our foreignpolicy, you seem to want to import the foreign policies of the1980s, just like the social policies of the 1950s and theeconomic policies of the 1920s,” President Barack Obama toldMitt Romney in their final debate.
Obama got sloppy here. Presumably, the president wassuggesting the 1920s represent economic failure. The decaderepresents just the opposite, as measured by the very goals onwhich the Democrats base their 2012 presidential campaign.
