Borders and political bridge-building were in evidence this week, from the U.S. to Asia. In Washington, President Donald Trump ramped up his calls for a wall on the southern frontier with Mexico, even telling children of his plans during the traditional Easter Egg Roll. In Vladivostok, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un used his first summit with Vladimir Putin to ask the Russian president to act as a go-between and help break a deadlock in Kim’s nuclear talks with Trump. These were among the most compelling political images of the week.
