European Carmakers Lobby Brussels as Industry Feels The Heat

Some of Europe’s biggest carmakers are in Brussels today amid a renewed push to lobby against new carbon emissions rules as one of the continent’s biggest sectors feels the pressure.

Representatives for companies like Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, as well as suppliers to the industry, are meeting European Union officials to push for further relaxation of proposed CO2 rules.
