Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern got a good deal of attention when she announced earlier this year that she’d be moving her family to Australia. She’s not the only one; record numbers of New Zealanders are leaving the country. And New Zealand isn’t the only nation losing people to emigration, with other countries periodically experiencing “brain drain.”
