King Charles III arrives at the White House today for a four-day state visit. The trip comes in the aftermath of a shooting at the Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday and amid frayed ties between the two countries, which President Donald Trump has said the British monarch could “absolutely” repair. Charles’ schedule includes talks with Trump, a banquet and an address to Congress.
