Keir Starmer may have been due to spend tomorrow keeping a watchful eye on King Charles’ visit to the US, but this lunchtime it was confirmed he’ll have a Commons vote to contend with: MPs will decide whether or not the PM should be referred to a parliamentary committee over the appointment of Peter Mandelson as US ambassador.
