Britain’s special relationship with the US is under strain as Donald Trump lashes out over Iran. But at least the US President still likes King Charles — not to mention Nigel Farage.

It’s been quite an afternoon for Britain’s Special Relationship (TM) with America.
At 1 p.m. Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles will cross the pond in late April to “celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship” between the two countries. It will mark the first state visit by a British monarch since 2007, and involve the King and Queen dining with Donald and Melania Trump at the White House.
