Europe Mulls NATO Arctic Mission Amid Trump Threats
Some European countries are discussing plans for a military mission in Greenland after Trump doubled-down on his threats

US President Donald Trump doubled-down on his threat to take Greenland overnight. “One way or the other, we are going to have Greenland,” he told reporters on Air Force One, brushing off concerns about the impact such a move would have on NATO.
Bloomberg reported this weekend that a group of European countries, led by the UK and Germany, is discussing plans for a military presence in Greenland to prove that it’s serious about Arctic security and to try to counter American threats to take over the self-ruling Danish territory.
