From the streaming entertainment company that’s thrived keeping people on the couch comes a live experience inviting fans to immerse in their favorite shows out in the real world. Netflix House, the company’s new experiential retail outlet, opened its second location in Dallas this week, following the launch of its first one last month inside a shuttered mall department store in Philadelphia.
With escape rooms and mini-golf courses inspired by shows like Is It Cake? and an abundance of food and merchandise based on hits like Stranger Things, Netflix House sits somewhere “between a high-concept Disneyland attraction and a suburban theme restaurant like Dave & Buster’s,” Sarah Holder writes after her visit to the Philly location.
