EU Seeks Its Own Rare-Earth Deal With China After Trump Win

European Union and Chinese negotiators are holding talks in Brussels today as the 27-nation bloc seeks to ensure its access to rare earths.

Discussions are taking place a day after President Donald Trump said US imports of China’s critical minerals was “settled” following a meeting with President Xi Jinping. The EU is continuing work on its own toolbox to ensure the same.
