Just over a week before a key Supreme Court session on the legality of President Donald Trump’s broad use of tariffs in emergencies, prediction markets are pointing to a slightly better-than-even chance that the justices will eventually rule against him.

Two separate betting websites — one asking whether Trump will lose, the other if he’ll win — show about a 60% chance that he’ll lose. The odds on PredictIt jumped to 66% on Tuesday after hovering between 48% and 69% for the past month. Polymarket’s odds have stayed pretty steady since late September, with the latest reading showing a 59% chance that the president won’t prevail.
