Nice cut outs they were too.
The PM leaves a country where the AI jobs effect is becoming clear: Tata Consultancy Services—India’s largest private sector employer—has just cut almost 20,000 jobs, its biggest ever headcount reduction. While TCS has also said it will create 5,000 new jobs in the UK over the next three years, that’s a lot of people in India losing work partly due to Trump’s tariffs and partly due to the spectre of AI.
