Optus said last week’s network outage left 480 customers unable to reach emergency services, as the Singapore Telecommunications Ltd.-owned business started a review into the fatal blunder. SingTel, which relies on Optus for half its revenue, is scrambling to contain the fallout from the botched Sept. 18 network upgrade that led to the deaths of four people. Australian Communications Minister Anika Wells has summoned SingTel to a meeting in Australia next week.
