The far-right’s Marine Le Pen said France can deliver a 2025 budget within weeks if the next prime minister is willing to narrow the deficit more slowly. She added that she doesn’t see a case for Emmanuel Macron to quit under current conditions. He confirmed that in a televised address, saying he will serve out the rest of his term and plans to name a new premier in the coming days.
