US stocks are expected to gain under both presidential candidates, with Donald Trump seen as better for gold and Bitcoin, while Kamala Harris is slightly more positive for housing costs. That’s according to a Bloomberg MLIV pulse survey. The stock market, up about 22% so far in 2024, is more likely to pick up steam under Trump than Harris. Some 38% of 350 survey respondents expect gains accelerating a year from now under the Republican candidate, versus 13% under the Democrat.
