Hello FOIA Files readers, hope everybody had a nice long weekend. This week, I’m turning my attention once again to the National Archives and Records Administration. I’ve been curious about NARA ever since its historic investigation sparked criminal charges against former President Donald Trump for his handling of highly classified documents.

My latest document haul from NARA doesn’t disappoint. It’s about the discovery of a stolen document that’s been missing for… wait for it … two decades! Plus, an internal report I obtained shows how NARA’s internal watchdog investigated a series of disturbing threats sent to former President Barack Obama at his presidential library.
