China’s CPI rose last month for the first time since August, by an above-expectations 0.7% year on year, as the Lunar New Year boosted spending. Domestic demand remains weak, Pinpoint Asset Management said. PPI fell 2.7%. February new lending, due as soon as today, probably declined.
