Jared Cohen has been a tech CEO, a State Department adviser and a Rhodes Scholar. Since 2022, he has served as Goldman Sachs president of global affairs, a position the firm created to help make sense of today’s complex geopolitical and economic environment.

In this capacity, Cohen takes calls from clients, writes white papers with frequent collaborator Ian Bremmer of the Eurasia Group and somehow finds time to write books. He sat down with Supply Lines recently to talk about what his firm is telling clients when they ask how they should be preparing for the next unexpected event.
