Since Hamas militants attacked southern Israel on Oct. 7, triggering the war, more than 25,000 people have died. Iran-backed Hamas’s incursion led to 1,200 deaths, while around 24,000 Palestinians are dead in Gaza, according to health authorities in Hamas-run territory.
