I’m staying put this holiday season, curbing my digital nomad ways for the first time in 15 years. In the past, you would have found me in the Caribbean or Central America, where I would be indulging in curried goat and black (fruit) cake in Jamaica, swimming with stingrays in Belize, or dancing to merengue at my friend’s home in the Dominican Republic while a pig roasted on a spit in the yard.
