This morning Israel announced another safe passage and urged citizens in northern Gaza to move south — another of the windows it’s been announcing daily since Saturday.

In a CBS interview aired in America overnight, President Biden said the Hamas attack on Oct. 7 was “as consequential as the Holocaust” but also sounded like a man with assurances when he said he believed Israel would do “everything in their power” to avoid killing the innocent.
