It’s been more than a year since I was infected by the coronavirus and developed long Covid. Along with millions of other people suffering from the condition, my day-to-day life has changed dramatically since then. I have trouble with intense multi-tasking, noisy environments might trigger a flare-up, and I’m no longer able to swim or go to spin class. Thankfully I’ve been accessing support at a National Health Service (NHS) long Covid rehabilitation clinic and have also recently started using private healthcare to address my condition. The difference between the two has been eye opening.
