As business insolvencies surge above pre-pandemic levels in Canada, I spoke with Luc Morin, the Canadian head of insolvency and restructuring at the global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright. We talked about the dealmaking outlook in his space and also discussed the use of what’s been seen as a novel alternative plan in the past few years in Canadian restructuring.
