Australia is on track to record a sixth year of trade surpluses and its government projects exports of coal will climb for at least the next three years on rising demand from India and Southeast Asia.
The nation posted an A$11.8 billion ($7.9 billion) monthly trade windfall in May, almost A$1 billion above forecasts, as coal and natural gas shipments advanced, official data showed Thursday.
