Hi, it's Fiona in New York. This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and I've found myself reflecting on all that’s changed over the past year. More on that later.

When a leaked draft of the US Supreme Court opinion striking down the landmark decision that legalized abortion was published in May of last year, it seemed at first like it couldn’t be true. It was hard to believe that Americans could lose reproductive freedoms that have existed for decades.
