I published a story yesterday about música Mexicana, or Mexican music, and its absolute domination across Bloomberg’s latest Pop Star Power Rankings. Peso Pluma, a 23-year-old from Guadalajara, came in at the top of the list with more than 600 million streams on Spotify in April and more than 800 million views on YouTube. Turns out I timed my story unintentionally well — yesterday, Bizzarap, a popular Argentinean producer, released his most recent Bzrp Music Sessions installment on YouTube, featuring none other than...Peso Pluma.
