Russia Targets Control of the South and Donbas in East

Russia’s two-month-old offensive in Ukraine now aims to secure control of the entire south of the country as well as the eastern Donbas region, said Major General Rustam Minnekayev, the deputy commander of the Central Military District, state media reported.
A Russian victory is a “realistic possibility” and the war may drag on until the end of next year, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Friday.
