New look, same city: Even before the world woke up to news of two viable Covid-19 vaccines last month, architects and designers were already looking ahead to what urban living will look like in the post-pandemic era — one that will be defined by social distancing as countries gradually distribute those vaccines and by changes in the way we work, socialize and patronize businesses. Everything from offices to senior homes to entire neighborhoods could look very different next year, while other spaces might see little change.
