September usually marks a pretty distinct transition. For much of the world, it’s back to school after summer, which comes with all those fresh-notebook feelings. It connotes a fresh start, a new season, even for those well past back-to-school age.

That transition may feel muted this year as work from home continues, remote learning continues (or not), and the inside of your living room continues to look the same as it did in August. That’s not to say there can't be any change.
