Never Mind Trump. On China, It’s Elon Musk You Need to Watch

Almost everyone is focusing on what President Donald Trump will do in the days to come regarding China and how that might affect what increasingly is seen as an unavoidable tumble toward a new Cold War. It may, though, be worth paying attention to what Elon Musk is up to as well.

Musk spent the weekend threatening to move his headquarters out of California because of a dispute over state authorities’ refusal to allow production to resume at his Fremont plant. That’s worth pointing to for one reason: You won’t find him doing anything like that when it comes to China.
