Navigator: Is This Normal?

At 6 p.m., or more realistically at 5 p.m., a little buzzer goes off in my head, somehow slicing through the pounding dread that soundtracked the day. “Outside!” it screams. “Outside!”

I’m lucky: My apartment building has a small backyard, and I could conceivably be outside, working, all day. But my new Pavlovian receptors want a more dramatic escape.
