Nigel Farage bowed to pressure to stand aside. He handed Boris Johnson a dramatic election boost by saying his Brexit Party won't contest any of the 317 Conservative seats up for grabs on Dec. 12 and will instead concentrate on fighting Labour, which wants a second referendum, and the Liberal Democrats, who want to ditch Brexit. Farage said he wants to avoid impeding Johnson's bid to get a majority.
