Time Is Running Out On 'Capital Ideas'

If you would like to join in the fun with the Authers’ Notes book club, this weekend is your last chance to read our first book offering, which is Capital Ideas by the late and great Peter Bernstein. The discussion we have held so far on the book can be found here. It is a classic, published in 1992, on how academic ideas came to dominate finance.

We will be holding a live conversation about the book on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. New York time. My colleague Christine Harper, editor of Bloomberg Markets and the co-author of Paul Volcker’s memoir Keeping At it, will moderate. Our special guest will be Jason Zweig, an investment columnist at the Wall Street Journal, who has been a friendly competitor for many years. Sincere thanks to our respected colleagues at the Journal for allowing him to appear on a Bloomberg platform.
