Food companies are targeting consumers on weight-loss drugs with new “GLP-1-friendly” entrées loaded with lean protein and fiber.

When she started taking a GLP-1 to lose weight, Al Salomon would prepare an entire meal only to find she had no desire to eat it.

“By the end, I was so tired and not interested in eating,” said Salomon, a 27-year-old Utah resident who works in marketing. The medication, she said, “suppressed all my hunger, all my desire to eat food, cook food.”
