A Star Chef Steps Into One of London’s Biggest Autumn Restaurant Openings
With Cicoria, Angela Hartnett looks to breathe new life into the Royal Opera House.
Angela Hartnett is one of the UK’s most popular chefs, beloved for her straight talk and approachable yet sophisticated style of Italian cooking. Her appeal has been on display since her days as a contestant on Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, and her reputation has only grown thanks to the popular podcast she co-hosts, Dish, which has ranked No. 1 on Apple Inc.’s list of food podcasts.
On Sept. 26, Hartnett will give fans a whole new place to find her—and her cooking: Cicoria, a 300-seat restaurant, bar and lounge inside London’s iconic Royal Opera House.
