William Beardmore-Gray says offices may not be dead, but they are changing.

William Beardmore-Gray, chairman and senior partner at Knight Frank LLP, spent most of his career advising the city’s biggest office landlords on leasing trophy properties like the Walkie Talkie tower at 20 Fenchurch Street and was ahead of the game when he pushed back against the notion that the office was dead.

For the man tasked with running — and modernizing — one of Britain’s oldest firms of chartered surveyors, the post-Covid future of the office market is just one of the challenges.
