Arcadia is a neighborhood in northeast Phoenix that stands on the borderline with Scottsdale. Originally filled with citrus groves, Arcadia was settled by wealthier families in ranch homes on large, well-irrigated lots adjacent to the Arizona Canal, which continues to be a precious source of water for millions.
