Ryanair Holdings Plc warned of rising costs this year if unhedged jet fuel prices remain at current levels, and as the budget carrier faces higher bills for fuel, crew and aircraft maintenance.

The Irish airline said unit costs for fiscal 2027 could increase by a mid-single digit percentage, while the 20% of its unhedged fuel needs had spiked in price. Ryanair has hedged 80% of its fuel at $67 per barrel for this year, which will insulate earnings and provide an advantage over other carriers, it said on Monday.
