London Tube Strikes Called Off, Averting Travel Chaos

Strikes on the London Underground transport network scheduled for this week were called off after a breakthrough in talks.

The RMT Union said it had suspended the walkouts and those scheduled for mid-June, but has added two more on June 2 and 4 as negotiations continue with operator Transport for London.
