Grains Jump After US Says China to Buy Billions in Farm Goods
Grain futures in Chicago jumped on Monday after the White House announced that China had agreed to buy at least $17 billion annually in American agricultural produce through 2028, following US President Donald Trump’s meetings in Beijing last week.
Most-active corn futures rose as much as 3.8%, the biggest intraday gain in six months, while wheat and soybeans also rose at open.
