Family Member Who Quit Over China Fiasco Back at Kweks’ CDL
A family member who left the developer controlled by one of Singapore’s wealthiest clans has rejoined its board, years after quitting over the firm’s handling of a failed investment in China.
Kwek Leng Peck, 69, is rejoining City Developments Ltd.’s board as vice-chairman and a non-executive director, the firm said in exchange filings Monday. It also announced that another director, Daniel Desbaillets, is resigning May 31, with Leng Peck’s appointment to become effective the next day.
