Andalusia, Spain’s most populous region, will hold elections Sunday with the People’s Party, which already governs the region, leading in polls to retain its majority.

The vote is the last regional election before Spain’s 2027 electoral cycle, when local, regional and general elections are scheduled, with the national vote expected in July. About 6.8 million voters will decide whether regional President Juanma Moreno secures a third term.
