Santos, Repsol Begin Commercial Oil Flows in Alaska Arctic

Santos Ltd. and Repsol SA have begun commercial production of oil from their Pikka discovery in Alaska, a milestone set to help drive a resurgence of crude flows in the state.

The site is initially expected to deliver roughly 20,000 barrels of oil per day with output eventually expected to quadruple. Additional expansion plans would boost flows even higher.
