Stellantis to Make Jeeps With China’s Dongfeng, Deepening Ties

Stellantis NV and Dongfeng Motor Corp. agreed to jointly make Jeep vehicles in China, deepening a recently rekindled partnership that started more than three decades ago.

The Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Co. venture is expected to start production of two Jeep off-road new-energy vehicles, and two Peugeot vehicles from 2027 in Wuhan, according to a statement. They’ll be sold in China and overseas, it said.
