Japan Post Targets ¥700 Billion Net Income in Fiscal 2028

Japan Post Holdings Co. said it’s aiming for group net income of as much as ¥700 billion ($4.4 billion) and return on equity of 7% in the fiscal year ending March 2029, in a new three-year plan released Friday.

That compares with net profit of ¥374.6 billion and ROE of 4.5% in the year ended March 31, according to the company’s data.
