Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is struggling to reach an agreement with her coalition partners over an electoral law originally devised to improve the Italian premier’s chances at the next general election.

Meloni has even reached out to the opposition, which is against the initiative, amid inconclusive talks with her allies.
