India, UAE Agree to Strategic Defense Partnership Framework

India and the United Arab Emirates agreed on a framework for a strategic defense partnership, underscoring deepening ties between the two countries as tensions remain elevated in the Middle East.

The agreement was announced during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brief stop in Abu Dhabi en route to Europe.
