Hyundai’s Top US Lobbyist to Depart After One Year in Key Role

Hyundai Motor Group’s top US lobbyist is leaving his role after a year on the job, a significant departure as the automaker contends with punishing tariffs and unpredictable policy swings under President Donald Trump.

Drew Ferguson, a former Republican Congressman who has overseen government affairs for Hyundai and its affiliate Kia in the US since last May, will depart at the end of this month.
