FDA Revamp Begins With the Departure of a Marty Makary Ally

It’s expected to be the first in a series of changes the Trump administration will make to create a clean slate at the agency.
Tracy Beth Høeg, who’d been serving as acting director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation, is leaving immediately, the people said. Michael Davis, currently the center’s deputy director, will become acting director, according to the people.
